The beginning of the guild.
The beginning was in 302, when magic was still being hunted and witches and wizards were being chased. There were four wizards and they made what we now call Roswood. It is built around a magical tree that holds all of their powers. The four wizards tried to keep the location hidden by creating a guild to protect the tree from harm. Over thousands of years, the small guild grew to be a huge city, but one fateful day hundreds of thousands of people rebelled against the tree, wondering why they were not using the tree's power to take over the world. They decided to rebel and tried to kill the leader, The Guild Master. But little did the rebels know that only the Guild Master and his 4 right-hand men, the Co-Guild Masters were able to use the tree’s power without killing it. The five leaders were able to stop the rebellion by themselves. Unfortunately, the power they unleashed happened to kill almost everyone that was involved in this war. The Guild Master and Co-Guild Masters barely managed to survive and that was when they decided to recruit new people to help protect the tree. Except the master's did not tell anyone the location of the tree. They simply left beacons across Minecraft servers with clues for the next beacon engraved on the previous one. The one who would manage to find it first would be deemed worthy of the role of “The Champion of the Tree”.
